Happy Easter

We hosted the Walker Easter Egg-stravaganza this year...with baby animals at the farm, hotdogs and marshmellows roasted over the fire, late night talking, yummy food, easter games(thanks Dave&Cher), easter crafts, easter egg hunt, and it wouldn't be easter without a easter egg roll(with the help of the seagulls at Lions park..hahaha)
We SOLD OUR HOUSE IN CALGARY....yippee..and what a wonderful blessing!
Watched Conference at the farm with Dave's family, easter dinner, easter egg hunt again(lucky kids)and lots of fun just visiting...the kids had a blast with all their cousins.
Dave turned 31 on Monday, so we decided to celebrate by going to Waterton for a picnic...so glad we did the weather was gorgeous...we walked around by the river, then climbed up the falls and ate our picnic with the biggest deer Hallee said she has ever seen...maybe because it was about two feet from her...hahaha...then we finshed it off with Dave's wonderful parents at the farm for cake.
It is such a wonderful blessing to be close to family!

Sunday Sun

Hallee was eatting breakfast before preschool a couple of weeks ago and said"Mom, there's a boy in my class that went on a trip..he brought back some fun seashells and he came back a different color!" Hahaha....he had a sun tan; they just got back from Hawaii.
A while ago; Dave took the girls out to play before dinner, and yes, they had a blast jumping, riding their bikes and splashing in the puddles in front of our house...they were drenched and covered on mud...we need to do that more often.
We've had a great week, it sure is nice being so close to the temple...it really is. At Church yesterday Hannah was asked to be a helper in sharing time and pick out which picture was Nephi. The teacher pointed to a picture of Joseph Smith and asked her if this was Nephi. She replied very confident and loudly " No that's Joseph Feilding Smith" Everyone laughed. Then later the same teacher asked all the kids if they came today in their cars and raised her handand replied "No ...we came in our vehicle" We enjoyed the warm weather yesterday by riding bikes and going for a walk after church. Dave took Hal's training wheels off her bike....and she did awesome. She told Auntie Rina on the phone that she rode her bike like the bestest kid ever.
Peyton loved saying hi to the neighbors cows "Hellllo...moo...cows"
Hannah loved the neighbor's huge white dog(He looks like a wolf) and kept saying "Good boy...come here"

Huge change from last year with the terrified screams whenever Two Spots and Boots (puppies) even looked at her. Hahaha.

Oh, how could I forget; the other night when I went to get Hannah before we went to bed to go potty...she was fast asleep on her bed with all here blankets off her bunk and she was wearing her sweater and Zebra dress up pants over her jammies...man she's funny....Dave and I were laughing so hard.

Proud to be CANADIAN!!!!!!

Well, let's just say I'm glad that Team Canada won yesterday for two reasons...number one; how stinkin exciting ......WOOOHOOOO ....and number two; cause than Dave was Not mad the rest of the day...hahaha. He was still beaming about the game when we were getting ready to go to sleep.

The Olympics were fun to watch this year, and yes it would of been better in person, but maybe next time they come to Canada ...Salmons and Woods=)

It sure makes me proud to be Canadian!!!!!!

Also a highlight of our weekend was the fire and hot dog roast at the farm last night... Oh, I can't wait for spring and especially summer nights on the swing watching the kids run outside and play.

Some inspirations from the girls this week were....

Hallee and Hannah were playing the piano together. Hannah paused and asked Hallee " How can you do that?" Hallee's serious reply was "It's Magic" ....hahaha

Hannah "Does Jesus live in the Moon?"

Hallee "Is the Holy Ghost a real ghost?"

Hannah, well watching out the window for Dave to come home..said "I saw Dad's car it was grave(aka grey)"

And for the highlight...drum roll please....as sacrament was being passed and the congregation was quite....Hallee yells " Peyton just said SH*t" .......what more can I say... Dave and I busted up laughing and our friends behind us tapped us on the shoulder to see if that's really what was said...Dave and I were both crying due to our uncontrolled laughter, or should I say embarrassment. (Peyton really didn't,)

We Won, We Won, We Won!!!

Finally a GOLD medal!! How exciting! We were watching with great anticipation as four Canadian skiers prepared for the mens moguls final. As the time approached for the first Canadian to begin his run........ we had to go to a church meeting. Yeah, nice. Valentines Day, Long Weekend, Olympics..... I know what you're thinking; perfect day for a meeting @ 7PM? Right, Right. Well we did get to watch the hightlights of the gold medal performance.

We will plan on spending a lot of time @ anyone's house who will have us over. No TV. This is a time when we do actually question our decision to get rid of the TV about 3 months ago. I guess we didn't think this far ahead. GO CANADA!!!!

It's not fair... unicorns aren't real....

We had so much fun in Calgary this weekend for Uncle David and Auntie Cher's little baby; Fayth's baby blessing. Although we did miss Dave, but so happy that he was able to finish his credits. Hallee thought baby Fayth's dress was so beautiful..and she told Grandpa and Grandma Pilling that "baby Fayth was wearing a little tiny wedding dress!" hahaha.
So last week Hallee and Hannah were playing. Hallee was wearing Aspen's flying unicorn costume, talking very serious...she says
"Hannah it's not fair...unicorns aren't real!"
"Why?" Hannah asks concerned.
"Because they shine like diamonds... and can fly" Hallee replied, and they ran off to play. Hahaha.. it made me laugh so hard, those two!

I've wanted to start a blog for a long time...and now I'm finally doing it, Yeah!!! Our girls are growing up so fast and with that comes changes everyday...but my favourite is...the hilarious things that come from their imagination. Thinking of these silly daily moments somehow help the crazy be well worth it for Dave and I.

Dave's been extremely busy since Christmas, with courses, credits, clients and more clients.( I'm not complaining though it's nice for him to have the business
Peyton has a great sense of humor and has started thinking she is so funny. She laughs after her own silly faces, or entertaining tricks.
Hannah has great speed...hahaha..as she runs, or gallops throughout the house and she still has time to stop and give a hug as she whirlwinds by us.
Hallee, loves school, doing crafts for hours and hours, using big words like "actually" and asking endless "what if's"

Well now that I've given our update, here's some pictures that Kristi took of us back in the summer. Thanks Miss Kristi you are sure wonderful=)
